JEDI International Scope was to do Sound Transmission Class (STC) test for the construction of the 10,000 worker accommodation camp, providing the best environment and facilities for the laborers who will be involved in the construction, planning and execution of the NEOM Project over a 10-year period. The scope involved the design, engineering and supervision of the entire village, demonstrating excellence in master planning and design while taking into account the vision of NEOM and the Saudi Quality of Life Program goals.
JEDI International played a crucial role in creating a peaceful living environment for workers at the colossal NEOM Construction Village, a key project in Saudi Arabia's futuristic city development. This massive undertaking houses tens of thousands of personnel and requires meticulous planning to ensure their well-being. JEDI International's expertise in Sound Transmission Class (STC) testing proved invaluable in achieving this goal.
STC testing measures the effectiveness of building elements in blocking sound transmission. In a large-scale construction village with densely populated living quarters, minimizing noise transfer between units is paramount. JEDI International's meticulous testing practices ensured that walls, partitions, and doors met the designated STC ratings, thereby creating a quieter and more restful environment for construction workers after long shifts. This focus on acoustic comfort contributes significantly to worker morale and overall well-being, ultimately benefiting the NEOM project as a whole.
